Love Lowell
Lowell Elementary is our neighborhood school, only minutes away from our church. Because one of our core values is to Serve the Community, we make it a priority to support our local school through various initiatives.
Lowell’s attendance zone includes students who live on the west side of Capitol Hill and students who live in downtown Seattle (South Lake Union/Belltown, south to the International District). Unfortunately, many of their students face unstable housing situation such as living in motels, shelters, doubled up arrangements, or unsheltered. Our mission is to Love Lowell by providing resources and support needed to serve their kids. Learn more below on how you can help today!

1) Donate Toiletries
The Lowell Food Hub is the first food pantry housed within a Seattle Public School. It is supported by the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and run by the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle’s Eco District. The pantry provides students and their families access to fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable food and toiletries. They are currently in urgent need of toiletries. Donations can be dropped off in a designated bin in the church lobby. Click link below to donate.

Donation bins are located in the church lobby.

A Thank You Note from Lowell Leadership
Dear Volunteer Park Church,
Thanks to your kindness and generosity we were able to order lots of whiteboards for classrooms and teachers this week. I was able to order 8 of them to upgrade classrooms and provide better instructional supports for teachers and students. I think of your communities generosity so often as I drive by and wanted to share our heartfelt gratitude for your on-going support of Lowell.
Thank you so much!
